2024 Dollars for Scholars: applying made easy!
Are you a graduating senior living within the Gettysburg Area School District? Are you planning to attend a career & technical school, or a 2- or 4-year college or university? If the answer is yes, you've come to the right place to apply for scholarships to help pay for your education. We will have over $110,000 in scholarships available for the Class of 2024.
Make sure to start early and complete your application by midnight, Friday, March 15th.
Applying online is easy
- Build a personal profile. Includes your experiences in and out of school, plans for continuing education, and more. This profile is used to match you with scholarships you are eligible for, both from the Gettysburg Area and from the national Dollars for Scholars organization. Detailed instructions are included here.
- Submit financial information. Your parents must provide financial information to gauge your need for financial assistance; this information is necessary to apply for any scholarship that is need-based (85% of our scholarships). Since completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required for Federal aid, Dollars for Scholars uses the EFC (Expected Family Contribution) from that process. - Ask your guidance office and references to help complete your profile, through their own login page. Detailed instructions are included here.
After you've completed your profile, you will see which scholarships for which you are qualified.
